Wyoming voters had cast 45,323 early ballots by Oct 29, five days before Election Day. In 2022, the state’s whole early vote was 16,020.

Wyoming is one of 13 states where this year’s early vote has already passed the 2022 total. Connecticut is at 256% of its 2022 early vote. Michigan is the latest to pass, 9,056 ballots over.

## Texas is 600,000 ballots past 2022

Texas voters have cast 6.1 million early ballots, 111% of the state’s 2022 early vote and about 607,000 more ballots.

## Ohio and North Carolina are next

Ohio needs about 2,800 more early ballots to pass its 2022 total. North Carolina needs about 17,500.

The comparison is with the last midterm. The 2024 presidential election drew more early voters than 2026 has so far in every state on the chart except New Jersey.
