# Carmena’s Overton & Electoral Research > A new, non-partisan US research firm for election research and predictive modelling. It publishes short, sourced data essays on the 2026 midterms (early vote, party data, voter blocks, polls) and the free public data behind them. Its stated goal is the most accurate predictive modelling for elections, behaviour and the Overton window, scored openly against results. Every page has a Markdown copy at index.md (for example https://carmenaresearch.com/blog/party-in-early-vote-trackers-is-a-model/index.md; /blog/.md also works). Figures dated Oct 23, 2026 are real data as of that date; the House and Senate forecast is not yet published, and any forecast numbers shown are labelled placeholders, not predictions. Post dates other than Oct 23, 2026 are illustrative. ## Key pages - [Carmena’s Overton & Electoral Research | Election modelling and research](https://carmenaresearch.com/): Non-partisan US election research. 2026 midterms, Oct 23, 2026: generic ballot D+9.0, 21.7M early ballots cast.
